mixed feelings about my stay
extra charges rude staff
I was really annoyed by the extra charges. they asked for £10 for towels upon arrival. i have never had to pay extra for towels. What a joke! the man just showed us to the room and left, i found it rude. also, filling in a form for breakfast downstairs reminded me of a chore, not a welcome, i expected better.

perfect location comfortable bed amazing staff convenient parking
The location is perfect. I walked everywhere so easily! the room had a nice size and a big comfortable bed, just what i needed. the owner was a really nice guy and the whole staff was amazing! also, i found a space to park my car right there. It was super convenient.
the room's decor felt a tad outdated.

Breakfast included tasty cooked items! it felt good. the staff ensured everyone had juice readily available. the dining area seemed clean and organized. It really enhanced the experience.

The hotel had a bar. It offered various drink options. i liked that a staff member quickly opened the bar upon request. there were some cushions near the staircase! the front door needs a fob, so you need to be buzzed through.

The hotel is wonderfully located opposite the venetian gardens. it's also just a few minutes walk from the middle of the area. the beach is just across the road. The sea view from my room was so lovely!

Justin, the owner, welcomed us! he was very accommodating and let us check in earlier. he shared the history of the building! it. the staff was friendly and helpful. They attended to my needs.

pleasant stay with nice location
comfy bed hot water perfect location
the room provided a super comfy bed , and i had instant access to hot water. my request for a fan was fulfilled promptly, which i appreciated. i also found the location perfect , being right opposite the venetian waterways.
i noticed that there were no handrails on the 2 sections of small stairs , , made it a bit difficult for me to navigate.

the double room, located on the top floor, was spacious and quiet. super fluffy towels were provided, and the bed was comfortable. it was a good experience.

mixed experience with some drawbacks
extra fee unfriendly reception
the location was acceptable.
I was asked to pay extra for towels upon arrival, which i found unusual. I have never experienced that before. there was no soap provided in the bathroom, inconvenient. the reception process felt odd and unfriendly. I prefer a warmer welcome.

warm room hot shower
the cooked breakfast WAS perfection with a great pot of tea. the room was warm and the shower hot.
The bar was closed. Although the owner opened it upon request, the selection was VERY limited.
